Common Questions
Do you offer in person sessions?
I offer both in person and telehealth sessions at this time. I prefer for my clients to be at least 13 years old to participate in telehealth.
How do I get started?
Give me a call, and we can discuss your needs and decide if you would like to move forward with scheduling an appointment. Once an appointment is scheduled, I will email you a link to create an online account through a secure, HIPAA compliant program that allows you to read, sign and upload necessary documents. If meeting virtually, you will have access to a link in your account in the patient portal to connect with me and begin your session.
How long does each therapy session take?
Sessions are 45-55 minutes.
What techniques do you use?
I use a cognitive behavioral framework which is tailored to trauma specific treatment concerns for clients healing from trauma. Cognitive behavioral therapy focuses on changing your mindset, shifting irrational and unhealthy thought patterns, building skills to improve your emotional regulation and coping and helping you make better choices that continue to foster your overall self-improvement.
What is considered trauma?

Please call to receive information on rates for self-pay.
Most Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans are accepted. Contact your insurance company to receive details on your mental health benefits and financial responsibility per session.
There is no sliding scale offered at this time.
